This year’s Organic Runway IV will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026.

The Application Process

We invite sustainable designers based in New York's Hudson Valley to apply. All applications are due by Wednesday, April 1st (no foolin’!). Designers will be notified of our final selections via email no later than Friday, April 25th. 

Each designer is expected to produce five looks. Designs featured on the runway are required to be made of at least 90% repurposed, secondhand, or deadstock materials, including shoes and accessories. Though we do an open call for models as a courtesy, designers are responsible for securing their own.

Applications will be reviewed by the HVSFW board and selected based on factors including but not limited to: location, sustainable design practices, materials used, and brand ethos.

Hudson Valley Sustainable Fashion Week(end)!

It’s called “slow fashion” and we’d like to reflect that by creating more time to learn about the design process and connect with fellow circular fashion advocates.

We are thrilled to announce a second daytime event to follow Organic Runway IV. Saturday, September 26, 2026 will be our inaugural Slow Fashion Fair! We’ll be inviting local creatives to showcase their designs and spend a day on the farm.

There will be food trucks, a clothing swap, live music, workshops, local eco organizations, and live demos.

Participating designers will be allotted a 10 x 10’ area to set up their own pop-up shop and have the opportunity to share their design process with attendees.

Participation Fee:

Organic Runway | Friday 9/25: $150 | Slow Fashion Fair | Saturday 9/26: $150 |The Week(end) $250

Instructions for payment will be sent with your acceptance letter and contract.
